Ways we help While the larger charities are well known, there are many smaller rescue organisations, often operated on a very small budget but still doing a great job. Not all smaller organisations have internet sites but where details are known these have been included. The larger organisations, the RSPCA are a wealth of knowledge on these matters. |

Ways We Help
Outreach.
Outreach Projects provide advice and services for pet owners who are homeless or in housing crisis.
Advice and information is also available for agencies and housing providers who are working with pet owners in housing crisis.

International
We pride ourselves on helping those dogs in countries that are less aware of animal welfare issues or that need assistance. To this end we have set up international projects, many in association with other charities, to help educate and raise awareness of dog and cat welfare in these countries. Presently we are working with agencies in Spain and France.

Campaigns
Our campaigns help us to highlight issues in dog welfare that not everyone may be aware of. With our aim in mind we have put in place various projects and schemes to meet this aim.

Education
Educating the dog owners of tomorrow is one of the ways we hope to help dogs in the future. Our Education programme is free to all UK primary schools and we have Education Officers in our campaign regions who visit schools, giving interactive workshops.
